Key Responsibilities 💵 Transaction HandlingOperate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process orders and payments accurately. Handle cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments, and coupons. Issue receipts and return correct change. Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts. Customer ServiceGreet customers warmly and answer questions about menu items or promotions. Upsell or suggest add-ons to increase sales. Resolve customer complaints or escalate to a supervisor when necessary. Maintain a polite and professional attitude at all times. Order Accuracy & CoordinationConfirm order details with customers before finalizing. Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation. Monitor order status and inform customers of any delays. 🧼 Cleanliness & OrganizationKeep the cashier station clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Follow hygiene and safety protocols, including sanitizing surfaces regularly. Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the dining area when needed. Inventory & SuppliesMonitor stock levels of packaging materials (bags, napkins, etc.) at the counter. Report shortages or restock items as required. Skills & QualificationsBasic math and cash-handling skills. Familiarity with POS systems and digital payment platforms. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure. Team-oriented mindset and willingness to assist in other areas when needed.
