Job Title: Junior Structural Engineer Precast

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of Etabs modelling and structural analysis and design calculations for precast concrete elements.
• Perform basic design checks and ensure compliance with relevant design codes ACI ,PCI and DM requirement and project specifications etc.
• Learn and apply company standards, design methodologies, and precast construction practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors degree in civil / Master in Structural Engineering from a reputed university with good academic standing.
• Experience: 1 year of relevant internship/training experience.

Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
• Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, (on job training will be provided).

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to fast-paced project environments.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer specializing in precast concrete design. The role involves leading the structural design, detailing, and coordination of precast components for large-scale construction projects. The candidate will ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications while guiding junior engineers and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead structural design and detailing of precast concrete components including walls, beams, columns, Prestressed half slabs, Hollow core slabs, and connections.
• Develop, review, and approve structural drawings, calculations, and specifications as per ACI and PCI.
• Perform load analysis, structural modelling, and design using software such as ETABS, SAFE, concise, Erickson wall etc.
• Ensure designs comply with international standards (ACI, Eurocode, UAE local codes) and project-specific requirements.
• Coordinate with PNCA , MEP engineers, and subcontractor to resolve design and constructability issues.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in design practices, detailing, and quality standards.
• Conduct peer reviews, structural audits, and risk assessments for precast designs.
• Provide technical support during construction, including site inspections and design clarifications.
• Maintain documentation of design changes, approvals, and design calculations.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of precast concrete design, including connections and erection sequencing.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (ETABS, SAFE, Revit Structure, concise, Erickson wall etc ).
• Solid understanding of construction methods and standards for precast concrete.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables with tight deadlines.
• Leadership skills and experience in guiding multidisciplinary teams.
