We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to perform technical presales activities for Automation solutions like gantry automation, robotic automation
As a presales engineer, you will be responsible to interact with customers for initial automation project inputs, conceptualizing an automation solution, preparing a layout drawing capturing all salient requirements of the solution, preparing the rough estimation for quotation considering all the elements of the project/solution requirement, discussing with Design & supply chain department for more accurate inputs for estimation, discussing with Sales lead and finalising the automation project concept & layout with required drawings & sketches, estimation & the quotation to be sent to customer Pre-sales engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional departments such as Mechanical Design, Electrical, Controls, Purchase, and Assembly teams to understand the lessons learnt in previously executed projects in conceptualizing & offering a good technical automation solution with competitive pricing
