Position: Pre-Primary Teacher Location: St. John Universal School , Goregaon Employment Type: Full-time, In-person Role Overview The Pre-Primary Teacher will create and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that promote overall development—social, emotional, cognitive, and physical—for children aged 3 to 6 years. Key Responsibilities Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans in areas such as early literacy, numeracy, art, music, storytelling, and motor skills Maintain a nurturing, inclusive, and safe classroom environment conducive to exploration and learning Observe, assess, and record each child’s developmental progress; communicate updates to parents regularly . Promote social skills like sharing, cooperation, empathy, and self-expression . Manage classroom behavior and resolve minor conflicts among students effectively . Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience and participate in school events . Ensure classroom hygiene and safety standards; supervise indoor and outdoor activities . Prepare materials, maintain resources, and manage classroom supplies efficiently Attend professional development sessions, staff meetings, and contribute to curriculum updates . Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field (diplomas such as NTT, D.El.Ed., ECCE/Montessori are preferred) Previous experience working with children aged 3–6 years is preferred; freshers with proper training are encouraged to apply Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and play-based pedagogy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including parent engagement Demonstrated patience, creativity, adaptability, and classroom management capabilities Basic first‑aid or CPR certification is an asset Apply on : [email protected] Job Type: Full-time Application Question(s): Where do you reside in mumbai ?
