Position: Pre-Primary Teacher

Role Overview

The Pre-Primary Teacher will create and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that promote overall development—social, emotional, cognitive, and physical—for children aged 3 to 6 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans in areas such as early literacy, numeracy, art, music, storytelling, and motor skills
• Maintain a nurturing, inclusive, and safe classroom environment conducive to exploration and learning
• Observe, assess, and record each child’s developmental progress; communicate updates to parents regularly .
• Promote social skills like sharing, cooperation, empathy, and self-expression .
• Manage classroom behavior and resolve minor conflicts among students effectively .
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience and participate in school events .
• Ensure classroom hygiene and safety standards; supervise indoor and outdoor activities .
• Prepare materials, maintain resources, and manage classroom supplies efficiently
• Attend professional development sessions, staff meetings, and contribute to curriculum updates .

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field (diplomas such as NTT, D.El.Ed., ECCE/Montessori are preferred)
• Previous experience working with children aged 3–6 years is preferred; freshers with proper training are encouraged to apply
• Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and play-based pedagogy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including parent engagement
• Demonstrated patience, creativity, adaptability, and classroom management capabilities
• Basic first‑aid or CPR certification is an asset
