Job Summary:

Pallavi International School, Sagar Road, is seeking an experienced and passionate Pre-Primary Coordinator to lead and manage the early years section (Nursery to Kindergarten). The ideal candidate will be dedicated to nurturing young learners, guiding educators, and collaborating with parents to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment aligned with our school’s values and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:Academic Leadership:

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate a developmentally appropriate curriculum in line with early childhood best practices.
  • Ensure teaching methodologies support holistic development and align with school standards.
  • Regularly monitor classroom activities and provide support to enhance instructional quality.
  • Oversee student assessments and maintain progress records.

Teacher Support and Development:

  • Lead and mentor pre-primary teachers through observation, coaching, and feedback.
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions and professional development programs.
  • Support in recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews of early years staff.

Student Development and Well-being:

  • Promote a caring and secure environment where every child feels valued.
  • Assist teachers in identifying and managing learning or behavioral challenges.
  • Coordinate with counselors, special educators, and parents for intervention strategies.

Parent Communication and Engagement:

  • Maintain strong communication with parents regarding student progress, events, and curriculum updates.
  • Conduct parent orientations, workshops, and regular PTMs (Parent-Teacher Meetings).
  • Address and resolve parental concerns empathetically and efficiently.

Administration and Coordination:

  • Develop academic calendars, timetables, and event plans for the pre-primary section.
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness, and hygiene protocols are followed in classrooms.
  • Coordinate with school leadership and other departments for integrated learning experiences.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in pre-primary, with at least 2 years in a leadership/coordinator role.
  • Deep understanding of child development theories and early years pedagogy.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in handling classroom technology and digital tools for learning.
