Work Schedule: Full-time on campus with flexibility for events during evenings/weekends
ATLAS SkillTech University is looking for a PR Officer to build and manage the public image and media presence of our Honble Chancellor and Executive President. This high-impact individual contributor (IC) role sits within the Presidents Office and is responsible for crafting and executing leadership communications that strengthen ATLAS public positioning.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership PR & Reputation Management
? Strategize and drive media visibility for the Chancellor and President across print, digital, and broadcast platforms
? Draft op-eds, interviews, leadership profiles, speeches, and social media content
? Track media mentions and reputation metrics
Media Relations
? Serve as the primary liaison for media outreach and interactions for the Executive Office
? Organize press events, interviews, and media briefings
? Build strong networks with journalists, editors, and key stakeholders in media
Content Development
? Prepare press releases, media kits, Q&A docs, and talking points
? Align content with institutional vision, tone, and strategy
? Work with internal teams and external PR/design agencies as needed
Public Engagement
? Manage visibility at key forums, panels, and industry events
? Coordinate leadership appearances and social media strategy
Project Management
? Maintain a PR calendar and report progress regularly
? Track performance of media campaigns and visibility efforts
Candidate ProfileEducation
? Masters degree in Journalism, Communications, Media, Public Relations, or Marketing
Experience
? 68 years in Public Relations, Corporate, or Strategic Communications
? Prior experience in executive profiling is a strong plus
