PR Officer

You will be located at ATLAS SkillTech University, Tower 1, Equinox Business Park, Off BKC, LBS Marg, Kurla (W), Mumbai 400070, working full-time on campus with flexibility for events during evenings/weekends. As a PR Officer at ATLAS SkillTech University, your main responsibility will be to build and manage the public image and media presence of our Honble Chancellor and Executive President. This high-impact individual contributor (IC) role sits within the Presidents Office and is crucial for crafting and executing leadership communications that strengthen ATLAS public positioning. Your key responsibilities will include: - Strategizing and driving media visibility for the Chancellor and President across print, digital, and broadcast platforms - Drafting op-eds, interviews, leadership profiles, speeches, and social media content - Tracking media mentions and reputation metrics - Serving as the primary liaison for media outreach and interactions for the Executive Office - Organizing press events, interviews, and media briefings - Building strong networks with journalists, editors, and key stakeholders in media - Preparing press releases, media kits, Q&A docs, and talking points - Aligning content with institutional vision, tone, and strategy - Managing visibility at key forums, panels, and industry events - Coordinating leadership appearances and social media strategy - Maintaining a PR calendar and reporting progress regularly - Tracking performance of media campaigns and visibility efforts To be successful in this role, you should have a Masters degree in Journalism, Communications, Media, Public Relations, or Marketing, along with 6-8 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate, or Strategic Communications. Prior experience in executive profiling is a strong plus.
