Foodkaseries is a cinematic food storytelling series by Foodka that explores the people, places, and memories behind the flavors of Bengal and beyond. Each episode delves deep into food culture, documenting stories from the early morning catch of fishermen in Mandarmani to century-old sweets near Joynagar Station. By collaborating with hospitality partners, chefs, and heritage brands, Foodkaseries promotes culinary tourism and local artisans through authentic storytelling. The series blends travel, emotion, tradition, and discovery to create a compelling narrative for food lovers, cultural explorers, and hospitality professionals.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kolkata for a PR Executive – FoodkaSeries. The PR Executive will be responsible for writing press releases, managing media relations, and other communication tasks. Day-to-day tasks include crafting public relations strategies, managing communication with media outlets, pitching stories, and initiating and managing relationships with press and media contacts. The PR Executive will also assist in managing public relations campaigns to promote Foodkaseries’ cinematic storytelling content and culinary partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience in writing press releases and managing media relations
• Strong communication and public relations skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain strong attention to detail
• Experience in maintaining and building media contacts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Knowledge of current trends in food and culinary arts is a plus
• A bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred
