Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)

Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesFinancial

  • To execute plant production optimization ideas.
  • To generate plant operating plans and economic evaluations to optimize plant operations, feed and product inventories, yield loss, and energy efficiencies.

Customer Oriented

  • To be accountable for the overall implementation and execution of the production planning process, generation of weekly production schedule and analysis, alignment of commercial, supply chain and operational assets, and managing and updating production planning tools.
  • To coordinate and balance needs of operations, commercial, maintenance and management.
  • To adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.

People Oriented

  • To lead detailed operational outage planning to align commercial, operational, and supply chain interests into executable operating plan.

Internal Business Process

  • To lead and manages production planning processes and develops/tracks KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), including generation and delivery of a weekly operating plan, with plan vs. actual analysis.
  • To lead all aspects of the production planning and detailed outage planning processes for a product family.
  • To monitor, track, and report critical inventories.
  • To maintain and improve planning and scheduling tools for increased accuracy, improved business performance, and processes.
