The job Looking for a talented and experienced Power BI Developer with over 5 years of experience in designing and developing advanced data visualizations and reports. This role is crucial to supporting our data analytics initiatives, providing data-driven insights through Power BI, and optimizing reporting capabilities across the organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, and SQL, and be well-versed in Azure Data Factory. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and .NET would be a valuable asset. Key responsibilities Power BI report development Data Modelling Azure Data Factory development SQL development Data Integration and Analysis Collaboration and Stakeholder Management Best Practices and Standards Essential requirements Power BI Development : Design, develop, and maintain complex Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business and user requirements. DAX Expertise : Write and optimize complex DAX queries and formulas for effective data modeling and insights. Data Transformation & Modeling : Build and manage data models within Power BI; optimize datasets for report performance and usability. SQL & Database Proficiency : Develop and run SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data as needed, ensuring data quality and accuracy. Azure Data Factory : Utilize Azure Data Factory to build and manage ETL pipelines, facilitating seamless data integration. Desired skills and competencies Microsoft Fabric : Leverage Fabric for advanced data integration and connectivity across Power BI, SQL, and Azure Data Factory. Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment with business needs. Documentation & Standards : Document processes, best practices, and development workflows to maintain consistency and quality. .NET Experience (Preferred): Integrate Power BI solutions with .NET applications as needed, enhancing functionality and reporting capabilities.
