To qualify for this role, you should hold a B.E/B.Tech degree in Engineering (Electrical) and preferably a post-graduation in Power System Engineering. Additionally, you should have 8-10 years of progressive experience in Power System Studies gained from reputable multinational Engineering companies, both domestically and internationally. Your responsibilities will include conducting a variety of Power System Studies such as Load Flow, Short Circuit, Protection Co-ordination, Dynamic Studies, Arc Flash Studies, Insulation Coordination Studies, Harmonic Studies, Reactive Power Compensation, among others. You will also be involved in performing tender stage estimations, developing standards and formats for design engineering projects, and providing consulting services to both domestic and international markets. Furthermore, you will be expected to analyze relay settings, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for system tripping incidents, guide testing engineers, conduct site visits when necessary, and provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions. Proficiency in tools such as ETAP, Dig Silent Power Factory, PSCAD, AutoCAD is essential for this role.
