Job Description:

Plan and perform calibration activities for genset and engine systems across load, speed, and environmental conditions
Execute electrical integration and validation of control panels, sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces (CAN, Modbus, etc.)
Conduct fault finding, troubleshooting, and rectification of electrical harnesses and control systems
Support ECU and controller calibration for fuel, air, and control strategies to meet performance and emission targets
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams during prototype setup and validation
Ensure instrument calibration and traceability to standards for accurate data acquisition
Prepare and maintain test plans, calibration logs, and validation reports
Support root cause analysis (RCA) for calibration and electrical issues identified during testing
Participate in system integration testing including alternator, control panel, and load bank interface
Ensure all testing complies with HSE and quality standards. Key Skills & Competencies
Strong hands-on skills in electrical system integration, control panel wiring, and signal interfacing
Proficiency in engine/genset calibration tools (ETAS INCA, AVL CRETA, CANape, or similar)
Understanding of control logic, sensor characteristics, and data acquisition systems (NI, Dewesoft, AVL, etc.)
Knowledge of CAN communication, ECU architecture, and electrical schematics
Experience with power generation systems, alternators, and control modules preferred
Analytical mindset with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with homologation and emission testing requirements is an advantage
