Power Electronic Design Engineer

As an experienced Engineer in the field of AC / DC Drives Design and Testing, your role will involve practical experience in developing Power Electronics Systems such as inverters, converters, and Drives for AD / DC Motors. You will work with High Voltage & Current Devices like IGBTs, Thyristors, Inductors, Capacitors, and related Components. Your expertise in Power Electronics, DSP, and Analog & Digital circuits will be crucial as you design IGBT, Thyristor, SMPS, and Converter systems. You will also need a good understanding of agency certification standards (like IEC/UL) and exposure to product design & qualification cycles, including product reliability qualification. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on work experience in AC / DC Drives Design and Testing - Practical experience in developing Power Electronics Systems like inverters, converters, and Drives for AD / DC Motors - Sound knowledge of Power Electronics, DSP, and Analog & Digital circuits - Working on IGBT, Thyristor, SMPS, and Converter designs - Understanding of agency certification standards (like IEC/UL) - Exposure to product design & qualification cycles - Good understanding of PCB design guidelines - Utilizing tools such as Saber, PSPICE, and Six Sigma - Knowledge of Embedded hardware - Familiarity with manufacturing and testing setups - Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication & project management skills - Generation of Product Specifications, executing projects, and coordinating with the plant on manufacturing activity - Working on quick turn around projects and redesign projects - Project documentation Qualifications Required: - B.Tech/BE in CS/EE from premier engineering institutes such as IITs, NITs - 2-5 years of relevant experience,
