You should have hands-on work experience in the field of AC/DC Drives Design and Testing. Practical experience in the development of power electronics systems like inverters, converters, drives for AC/DC motors, and UPS with high voltage & current devices such as IGBTs, Thyristors, inductors, capacitors & related components is required. You must possess sound knowledge of Power Electronics, DSP, and analog & digital circuits. Previous work on IGBT, Thyristor, SMPS, and Converter designs is essential. Familiarity with agency certification standards like IEC/UL is necessary. Exposure to product design & qualification cycle, including product reliability qualification, defining quality and test specifications, is a must. Good understanding of PCB design guidelines is expected. Additional skills in Saber/PSPICE, Six Sigma tools, embedded hardware, manufacturing, and testing setup would be advantageous. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication & project management skills are required for this role. Responsibilities include the generation of product specifications, executing projects, coordinating with the plant on manufacturing activities, working on quick turnaround and redesign projects, as well as project documentation. The ideal candidate should hold a B.Tech/BE degree in CS/EE from premier engineering institutes such as IITs, NITs. The desired experience for this position is 2-5 years.,
