Power BI Intern

· Job title : Intern

· Duration : 6 months – 1 year

· Stipend : 9,000 per month maximum (depends upon interview performances)

· Timings : 11:00am to 8:00 pm

· Week Off’s : 5 days a week

· After completion of the internship, we offered a permanent role with a gross salary of ₹22,000 to 25,000 per month (Based on work Performance).

Roles & Responsibilities

SQL & Database Support

• Write, test, and optimize SQL queries.
• Assist with stored procedures, functions, and data validation.
• Monitor scheduled jobs, ETL workflows, and error logs.

Hotel Software Support (PMS, ERP, POS)

• Provide basic support for hotel systems like PMS, ERP, POS, and Channel Manager.
• Assist with data correction requests, reconciliation, and configuration checks.
• Troubleshoot common user issues such as login, data mismatch, and report generation.
• Help prepare FAQs, troubleshooting notes, and support logs.
• Coordinate with hotel teams for requirement gathering and follow-ups.

BI & Reporting

• Support SSIS package updates and ETL tasks.
• Help prepare SSRS/Paginated reports and validation sheets.
• Assist in data quality checks, KPI verification, and dashboard testing.

Python & Automation

• Develop small Python scripts for data cleanup or automation.
• Assist in testing API-based integrations and workflows.

Documentation & Coordination

• Prepare requirement documents and user guides.
• Maintain issue tracking sheets, action logs, and analysis notes.
• Support email communication and ticket follow-up.

Testing & Validation

• Perform system and regression testing.
• Validate hotel-related datasets, revenue reports, and KPI outputs.

Preferred Skills

• Basic SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY).
• Understanding of Excel or Power BI.
• Interest in hotel operations or software systems.
• Awareness of Python basics (optional).
• Good communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (ongoing or completed) in:
• Computer Science / IT
• Data Science / Analytics
• BCA / MCA
• Electronics / Engineering
• Hotel Management with IT interest
• Foundational knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and software systems.
• Good communication skills for interacting with hotel teams and documenting issues.
• Ability to learn quickly and handle technical as well as support tasks.
