Senior BI Developer SSRS & Power BI
Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards based on business requirements. • Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Optimize and troubleshoot existing SSRS reports and Power BI datasets for performance and accuracy. • Develop and maintain Power BI data models, DAX measures, and calculated columns. • Integrate Power BI with various data sources including SQL Server, Snowflake, and other cloud-based platforms. • Participate in data migration and modernization projects, especially transitioning from legacy systems to Snowflake. • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across reporting layers. • Document technical designs, data flows, and report specifications. Required Skills: • Healthcare Payer domain understanding • Up to 8 years of experience in SSRS and Power BI development. • Strong proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning. • Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and report optimization. • Solid understanding of Power BI Service, including workspaces, gateways, and deployment pipelines. • Experience working with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses is a strong advantage. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
