Job Summary:

Power BI Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and maintain

  Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations

  .
• Create and optimize

  SQL queries, stored procedures, and views

  in MS SQL Server for reporting needs.
• Utilize

  Python

  for data processing, automation, data cleansing, and custom analytics integration.
• Build and manage

  data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations

  .
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
  
• Ensure

  data accuracy, validation, and performance optimization

  of Power BI reports.
• Schedule, publish, and maintain reports on

  Power BI Service

  including workspaces, gateways, and row-level security.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support

  ETL workflows, data pipelines, and reporting automation

  .
• Troubleshoot report issues, improve report performance, and ensure data governance and quality.
  

Required Skills:

• Power BI (Advanced)

  – DAX, Power Query (M language), Data Modelling, Power BI Service.

• Python

  – automation scripts, data processing, analytics integration.

• MS SQL

  – advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, indexing, database design.
• Strong understanding of

  ETL concepts, BI architecture, and data warehousing fundamentals

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Power BI Gateways, Security Roles, and Workspace Management

  .

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Knowledge of

  Azure Services

  (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse).
• Experience working with

  Agile methodology and version control (Git)

  .
• Exposure to

  Machine Learning basics

  using Python.
