Power BI Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilledPower BI and Data Engineerwith expertise inPython, ETL, Spark, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytical dashboards to support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintainETL pipelinesto process structured and unstructured data efficiently.
• Build and optimizedata modelsand workflows inAzure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
• Develop interactive and insightfulPower BI dashboards and reportsto support business intelligence.
• Work withbig data technologies (Spark, Databricks)to process and analyze large datasets.
• Implementdata transformation and data integrationsolutions usingPython and SQL.
• Ensuredata quality, integrity, and governanceacross the data lifecycle.
• Optimize database performance and query efficiency inSQL-based environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement security best practices and role-based access controls (RBAC) in Azure services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong experience inPower BI(DAX, Power Query, data modeling, report development).
• Proficiency inPythonfor data engineering and automation.
• Experience inETL developmentand working with large-scaledata pipelines.
• Strong understanding ofSpark (PySpark, Scala, or Spark SQL)for big data processing.
• Expertise inSQL development, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines, DevOps for data engineering, and version control (Git).
• Knowledge ofdata governance, security, and compliance best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience withAzure Machine Learningor other AI/ML tools is a plus.
• Knowledge ofstreaming technologies (Kafka, Event Hub, etc.).
• Familiarity with scripting languages for automation (Shell, PowerShell).
• Certification inAzure Data Engineering or Power BIis a plus.
• Hands-on expertise inAzure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Experience inAzure cloud servicesfor data storage, processing, and analytics.
