Power BI Analyst

As a Power BI Analyst at M3J Technical Services, you will play a crucial role in automating reports, extracting and cleansing data, and creating impactful visualizations for key performance indicators (KPIs) using Power BI and Excel tools. Your responsibilities will involve developing data-driven applications for desktop, web, and mobile platforms to ensure the agility and growth of our business. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will design and publish Power BI reports that align with our business objectives. By analyzing and comprehending business processes, you will tailor reports to meet specific operational requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and transforming data from various sources such as SQL Server, Excel, and SharePoint using tools like Power Query, Dataflow Gen 2, and Lakehouse. Developing data models, optimizing report performance, and maintaining clear documentation while providing user training and support for Power BI will be integral parts of your role. To be successful in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or possess equivalent work experience. A solid understanding of BI concepts, data visualization best practices, and at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development are essential. Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), data modeling, SQL, and working with relational databases is required. Moreover, having a keen eye for detail, strong analytical and organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities are crucial attributes for this role. Preferred qualifications include being Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate and having experience with Fabric and other data integration tools. Familiarity with Power BI Service administration, Microsoft Fabric, Power Automate, or SharePoint would be advantageous. Additionally, you should be proactive, results-oriented, and possess a high level of integrity.
