Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the powder coating process, including pre-treatment powder spraying, and curing.
Work with design and production teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and powder coating
parts hanging .
Ensure the quality of the powder coating process by monitoring equipment, maintaining standards, and
addressing any issues that arise.
Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the powder coating process, such as coating defects or
equipment malfunctions.
Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the powder coating process.
Skills and Qualifications:

Specific Tasks:
Prepare sheet metal parts for powder coating by cleaning, degreasing, and/or blasting to remove any
contaminants or residues.
Apply the powder coating using electrostatic spraying, ensuring even coverage and minimal waste.
Control the curing oven temperature and time to ensure the powder melts and fuses to the metal,
creating a durable finish.
Handle and inspect coated parts, addressing any defects or issues.
Maintain and calibrate powder coating equipment, including spray guns, curing ovens, and conveyor
systems.
