Powder Coater

Designation : Powder coater

Required Experience: 10-12 years.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Surface Preparation:

o Clean, sandblast, or treat metal surfaces before coating.

o Ensure surfaces are free from dirt, oil, and rust.

2. Powder Coating Application:

o Apply powder coatings using electrostatic spray guns.

o Ensure proper coverage, thickness, and uniform finish.

3. Curing Process:

o Operate curing ovens to bake the coated parts.

o Monitor temperature and timing to ensure proper curing.

4. Quality Control:

o Inspect coated items for defects such as bubbles, runs, or uneven coverage.

o Use tools like micrometers, gloss meters, or visual inspections.

5. Equipment Maintenance:

o Clean and maintain spray booths, guns, and ovens regularly.

o Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.

6. Safety and Compliance:

o Follow safety guidelines related to powder handling and equipment use.

o Wear appropriate PPE (gloves, masks, eye protection).

7. Documentation & Reporting:

o Record job completion data, powder usage, and any quality issues.

o Update production logs or job sheets.

8. Coordination with Team:

o Work with supervisors, quality inspectors, and material handlers.

o Ensure timely completion of tasks as per production schedule.

Key Skills Required:

• Knowledge of powder coating materials and equipment.
• Attention to detail.
• Understanding of safety protocols and quality standards.
• Ability to read job orders or technical drawings.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹30,795.37 - ₹50,681.76 per month
