Job Description

PostgreSQL:

  • Extensive experience as a

    AWS Aurora PostgreSQL

    database administrator or consultant.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/PostgreSQL.
  • Migration experience from native RDBMS to Aurora Postgre SQL
  • Experience in AWS DMS and AWS SCT
  • In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL features, capabilities, and best practices.
  • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL extensions and additional tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Relevant certifications in PostgreSQL or related technologies are a plus.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of

    AWS Aurora PostgreSQL databases

    to ensure efficient and responsive data access.
  • Analyse and resolve performance bottlenecks and issues.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices for

    AWS Aurora PostgreSQL databases.

  • Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies for PostgreSQL databases.
  • Implement disaster recovery plans to minimize data loss and downtime.
  • Implement and manage high availability solutions, such as streaming replication or logical replication.
