Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
• Ensure database performance, integrity, and security.
• Design and implement database systems.
• Monitor and optimize database performance.
• Ensure data integrity and security.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery processes.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams.
• Automate database tasks and processes.
• Perform database tuning and optimization.
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions.
• Maintain database documentation and standards.
• Implement database upgrades and patches.
• Monitor database health and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Provide support for database-related issues.
• Conduct database capacity planning.
• Develop and maintain database scripts and tools.
• Stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends.
• PostgreSQL replication from one cluster to another cluster.
• Train and mentor junior database administrators.
• PostgreSQL DBA along with AWS,
• AZURE cloud experience is good advantage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience as a PostgreSQL DBA.
• 24/7 Support for PostgreSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of database architecture and design.
• Experience with database tuning and optimization.
• Proficiency in SQL and database scripting.
• Familiarity with database tools and technologies.
• Experience with backup and recovery processes.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery planning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with database automation.
• Knowledge of data protection regulations
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
• Experience with database upgrades and patches.
• Familiarity with monitoring and performance metrics.
• Ability to develop and maintain database documentation.
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest technologies.
• Experience in training and mentoring junior staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
