Click here to download Form From The Director Students’ Welfare Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana To All Deans / Directors / Other Officers/ All Heads of Departments PAU, Ludhiana and outstations Memo No.DSW/A-1/2025/ Dated Subject: Regarding filling up the one post of Tractor Operator on contract basis at fixed salary of Rs. 13067/- p.m. fixed (additional Rs.800/- p.m.) Qualifications Applications are invited for the filling up one post of Tractor Operator at the fixed salary of Rs. 13,067/- p.m. fixed (additional Rs.800/- p.m.) on contractual basis in the scheme, “Amalgamated Fund”. The qualifications prescribed for the foresaid post is as under: Matric with Punjabi Tractor driving license One year experience of tractor driving and maintenance of Agri. Implements Age: 18 years to 60 years Or Middle with Punjabi Tractor driving license Two year experience of tractor driving and maintenance of Agri. Implements Age: 18 years to 60 years Desirable: The preference will be given to the candidate who has been working as DPLs in their respective field in PAU Note: 25% and 12% are reserved for candidates belonging to scheduled caste / tribes and backward classes belonging to Punjab state respectively: 13% posts are reserved for ex-servicemen and 3% posts are reserved for physically handicapped persons. The desirous candidates fulfilling the above qualifications should send their applications complete in all respects along with attested passport size photograph, attested copies of the certificates/testimonials and Bank Draft of Rs.177/- in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana to this office on or before 25.06.2025 at 04:00 p.m positively. Applications received without the prescribed application fee/received after the due date shall not be considered. The date for the conduct of practical test will be intimated later on, Candidates should bring their original certificates at the time of practical test. No TA/DA will be given for attending the practical test. The engagement for the above mentioned post will be initially for a period of six months in the first instance. The position is purely temporary and the services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without any notice. The person so appointed will have either to deposit one month salary or to submit one month's notice or the salary for the period falling short of one month if he/she opts to quit the university service and vice-versa.
