We are seeking an innovative and highly skilled Sr Advanced Embedded Engr to join our team at Sparta Systems. In this crucial role, you will leverage your advanced knowledge of embedded engineering, processes, and tools to develop groundbreaking embedded firmware solutions for security smart devices, from prototype to market. You will also serve as a mentor to junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners. Roles and Responsibilities: Utilize advanced knowledge of embedded engineering disciplines, processes, and tools to deliver innovative solutions for security smart devices. Contribute to the development of next-generation security smart device products by designing, testing, and/or validating products/processes. Develop new products within a cross-functional team environment. Translate marketing requirements and product vision into detailed specifications. Develop embedded firmware, including creating project and technical reports and defining product architecture. Maintain firmware applications and develop internal tools, including shell scripts. Aid in the design, development, and redesign of applications and systems to meet customer needs. Actively participate in commercial new product development for fire systems, covering requirement analysis, feasibility studies, architecture design, software implementation, testing, and debugging. Take ownership of fire systems project operation and maintenance. Collaborate with external ODM/OEM suppliers or third-party vendors for product development. Provide expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs. Mentor more junior engineers, fostering their growth and development. Interact with internal and external customers to facilitate product completion to specifications. Skills Requirement: Strong technical knowledge in Embedded C and Embedded C++ . Good working knowledge in Embedded Linux Operating System . Good understanding of POSIX standard, IPC, Multi-threading , etc. Strong debugging skills with hands-on experience with hardware. Relevant knowledge of working with peripherals and communication protocols. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong team player with a keen sense of urgency and drive for business success. Excellent communication skills with an entrepreneurial spirit. Knowledge of Fire System/Domain is an added advantage. Product Cyber Security skills are beneficial. Familiarity with GB, EN, UL fire regulatory experience is a plus. Understanding of the agile software development spirit, with experience in agile methodologies being an advantage. QUALIFICATION: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Communication Engineering.
