Job Summary:

Chinese Language Expert

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a
language interpreter and translator
between Chinese-speaking technicians/engineers and Indian teams during industrial machinery installations.
Translate
technical documents, manuals, and communications accurately from
Mandarin/Cantonese to English/Hindi and vice versa
.
Assist project teams in
coordination and communication
with Chinese counterparts to ensure smooth project execution.
Be physically present at
project sites
in
Kashipur
and
Pataudi
as per work requirements.
Support in
meetings, conferences, and factory floor discussions
by providing real-time translation.
Help in building
cross-cultural communication bridges
and resolving misunderstandings due to language or cultural barriers.
Prepare
reports, updates, and documentation
as required for internal communication.

Key Requirements:

Proficiency in Mandarin
(Reading, Writing, Speaking) is
mandatory
.
Cantonese
knowledge will be an added advantage.
Excellent command over
English and Hindi
, both written and spoken.
Minimum
23 years of experience
in
industrial project environments
, preferably involving
machinery installation and commissioning
.
Prior experience working with
Chinese-speaking nationals
in an industrial or manufacturing setup is
essential
.
Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting language-related gaps.

Educational Qualification:

Graduate in Chinese Language or relevant certification in
Mandarin/Translation Studies
.
Technical background or familiarity with industrial terms will be beneficial.
