Job Description

A Plus One (+1) and Plus Two (+2) Commerce Mentor plays a critical role in guiding students through the final two years of higher secondary education. These years are foundational for future academic and career paths, especially in commerce-related fields such as accounting, business, economics, and management.

Roles and responsibilities

Academic Guidance

• Teach and explain core commerce subjects: Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and Mathematics (if applicable).
• Provide in-depth conceptual clarity and resolve student doubts.

Curriculum Planning:

• Develop lesson plans aligned with the board syllabus .
• Ensure timely completion of the syllabus with adequate revision time.

Exam Preparation:

• Conduct regular class tests, mock exams, and revision sessions.
• Guide students on exam patterns, time management, and answering techniques.
• Progress Monitoring & Parent Engagement
• Performance Tracking:

Skill and Value Development

• Ethics and Responsibility:
• Instill values like integrity, discipline, and responsibility in financial dealings.
• Teach students the importance of ethical business practices.
• Current Affairs & Real-World Relevance:
• Integrate real-world examples, current business news, and case studies.
• Make students aware of economic changes and their impact.

Documentation:

• Maintain academic records, attendance, and student logs.
• Assist in board exam registrations and documentation.

Collaboration:

• Participate in curriculum development.
• Monitor academic progress through assessments and feedback.
• Maintain student progress reports and suggest improvement areas.

Parent Communication:

• Hold regular meetings with parents to discuss student development.
• Address behavioral or academic concerns collaboratively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
