PLSQL Developer

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced PL/SQL Developer to develop, optimize, and maintain complex database procedures, functions, and queries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle PL/SQL development and be able to work collaboratively with application developers, analysts, and DBAs. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures , functions, packages, and triggers Write optimized SQL queries for data manipulation and reporting Develop and maintain ETL processes using PL/SQL and other tools Analyze existing queries for performance tuning and optimization Collaborate with application developers to integrate database logic with applications Perform unit testing and support system/integration testing efforts Assist in database design and contribute to data modeling efforts Create and maintain technical documentation for all database-related components Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into database logic Required Skills & Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development Strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries , stored procedures, and performance tuning Good understanding of relational database design and normalization Experience with Oracle database versions (12c, 19c, etc.) Familiarity with query optimization techniques and Oracle execution plans Knowledge of Oracle tools such as SQL*Plus, SQL Developer, TOAD Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) Familiarity with ETL tools or custom ETL using PL/SQL Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): Experience in data warehousing or reporting systems Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodology Basic understanding of Oracle APEX or other front-end tools Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science , Information Systems , or a related field
