Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a PLC specialist at OCL Iron & Steels Limited, located in Laikera. The role involves programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for industrial automation systems. Day-to-day tasks include designing control system logic, performing routine inspections, resolving system malfunctions, and ensuring smooth plant operations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance production processes and implementing efficiency improvements are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

Expertise in PLC Programming, Troubleshooting, and Logic Design for automation
Familiarity with Industrial Automation, Process Control Systems, and related equipment
Skills in Electrical System Maintenance, Interpretation of Technical Schematics, and Diagnostics
Understanding of Control Panels, Sensor Integration, and Hardware Setup
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
Experience with HMI/SCADA systems is an advantage
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
Prior experience in the steel industry or manufacturing environment is beneficial
