Playwright Automation Testing

As a Lead I - Software Testing at UST, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the software testing efforts, ensuring the highest quality of software delivery, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Here is a breakdown of what the role entails: Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Playwright to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality software releases. Your expertise in using Playwright for end-to-end testing, including setting up and configuring Playwright Advanced Playwright features, will be essential. Additionally, you will be involved in containerized deployment of automation scripts and cross-browser testing. Key Responsibilities: - Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks within CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle and ensure continuous integration and delivery - Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and schedules to meet project goals and timelines - Work closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to identify and resolve issues, and ensure seamless integration of testing processes - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers and developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation - Generate detailed test reports and metrics to communicate testing progress, results, and quality status to stakeholders Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Playwright Expert (3+) or Software Test Engineer (7+) with a strong focus on automation - Strong expertise in Playwright MCP and integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines - In-depth knowledge of Playwright framework and its capabilities - Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and principles - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Good communication and documentation skills In addition to the above qualifications, the following are preferred qualifications: - Relevant certifications in software testing or CI/CD practices - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments - Proven track record of leading and managing testing teams About UST: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider that partners with clients to make a real impact through transformation.
