We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Playwright and extensive experience in integrating automated testing frameworks with CI/CD pipelines. This role requires a proactive individual who can lead testing efforts, ensure the highest quality of software delivery, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The Opportunity: Oversee the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts using Playwright to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality software releases. Expertise in using Playwright for end-to-end testing, including setting up and configuring Playwright Advanced Playwright Features: Knowledge of handling assertions, API mocking, authentication handling, mobile testing, and integrating Playwright with CI/CD Deployment. Containerized deployment of automation script Cross-Browser Testing Ability to run tests across multiple browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge CI/CD Integration Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks within CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle and ensure continuous integration and delivery Thorough understanding of requirements and transforming them to test cases & test scripts Test Strategy Development Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and schedules to meet project goals and timelines Collaboration Work closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to identify and resolve issues, and ensure seamless integration of testing processes Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers and developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation Reporting Generate detailed test reports and metrics to communicate testing progress, results, and quality status to stakeholders What are we looking For: Qualifications: Proven experience as a Playwright Expert (3+) or Software Test Engineer (7+) with a strong focus on automation Strong expertise in Playwright MCP and integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines. In-depth knowledge of Playwright framework and its capabilities Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and principles Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: Relevant certifications in software testing or CI/CD practices Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Leadership: Proven track record of leading and managing testing teams What we believe: We’re proud to embrace the same values that have shaped UST since the beginning.
