Freelance Play Therapist | TinyPal (Remote) At TinyPal , we simplify parenting through expert-curated strategies and AI-powered support. On one side, we guide parents with the right frameworks for everyday challenges. On the other, our AI-powered bot engages directly with children —using play, conversation, and storytelling to create moments of connection, regulation, and growth. We’re now building something truly first-of-its-kind: an emotionally attuned, interactive AI play companion . We’re looking for a freelance play therapist who can help us reimagine what therapeutic play looks like— not in a room, but through a bot. This is an exciting 0–1 opportunity , where your ideas will help shape how children experience support, expression, and emotional safety through guided play. You'll work closely with product, content, and design teams to bring therapeutic wisdom into a format that feels fun, safe, and meaningful for young children. As a Freelance Play Therapist, you’ll: Help translate offline play therapy techniques into interactive, emotionally resonant experiences delivered by a bot. Suggest play-based interactions, games, or storylines that help children navigate emotions, relationships, or challenges. Design simple icebreakers, rituals, and prompts that foster trust and emotional connection between a child and the bot. Develop storylines, role plays, or guided activities that serve as a bridge between parent goals and child action , using the bot as an intelligent guide. Ensure all ideas are developmentally appropriate, inclusive, and grounded in real therapeutic principles . Collaborate with the content and design teams to ensure your insights come to life in a form that feels natural and delightful for a child. ✨ What we’re looking for: Certified, practicing play therapist (or a similar background).
