Platform Product SME - Tax

Role Overview: As the Platform Product Subject Matter Expert at Maersk, you will be responsible for owning and managing the Global TAX technology platform in collaboration with the Global Indirect TAX business team and internal TAX engineers. Your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining a scalable TAX technology platform that aligns with business requirements and supports the Maersk Integrator journey. You will lead the implementation of the TAX technology platform roadmap and cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across Global TAX and other finance areas. Key Responsibilities: - Own the Indirect TAX technology platform, roadmap, and backlog. - Understand business and end-users needs to translate them into technical requirements. - Select optimal solutions and resolve platform design challenges with engineers. - Manage Indirect TAX data migration and validation. - Develop test scenarios and cases, support end-users during testing, and resolve test issues. - Drive business cut-over activities and provide support for hyper care issue resolution. Qualifications Required: - Personal drive, ownership mentality, and ability to work independently. - Comprehensive understanding of Indirect TAX and Accounts Receivable processes. - Technical proficiency in SAP (ECC/S4). - Experience in software delivery organizations or leading software implementation projects is preferred. - Proficiency in applying agile analysis techniques, transforming business requirements into technical specifications, and preparing and executing test cases.
