Platform Engineer

We are currently hiring for Azure Platform Engineer for Temenos

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve Azure platform incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and quick recovery.
• Administer and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters including scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and improve platform automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
• Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and security.
• Provide platform operational support including responding to monitoring alerts and maintaining system uptime per SLAs.
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Strong analytic & problem-solving skills for root cause determination & fixing issues.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Write and maintain scripts using PowerShell or Batch scripting to automate routine tasks and deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Kubernetes, container runtime, and networking issues.
• Participate in bridge calls to deep dive on the route cause and permanent fixes.
• Maintain documentation for platform configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.
• Stay updated on Azure platform best practices, security standards, and emerging technologies.

Essential Skills :

• 2 to 5 years of experience managing Azure cloud platforms.
• Currently working on support engineer domain.
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes components, architecture, and networking.
• Azure certification is added advantage
• Operating system Windows and Linux
• Experience integrating Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience on any of the ticketing tools (JIRA/ServiceNow/ServiceDesk/etc)
