The Platform Infrastructure Team at Five9 plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining the Cloud Infrastructure that supports the software deployment hosted by Five9. This team provides essential cloud infrastructure, tools, and resources to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of software development and deployment processes. This position is situated at one of the offices of our affiliate, Acqueon Technologies in India. You will join the Acqueon team and collaborate with global colleagues primarily based in the United States, supporting Five9 products. As a member of the Cloud Platform Engineering team, you will contribute to building Five9's Classic on-prem and Modern SaaS platform. We are looking for an experienced engineer with a passion for constructing high-performance cloud platforms with an automation-first mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to innovation. Your responsibilities will include: - Building on-prem and hybrid-cloud solutions as part of the Cloud Platform Infrastructure Team. - Developing automation capabilities for CI/CD and progressive delivery of on-prem and Cloud Native applications. - Supporting Five9 development teams with developer workflows and automation tools for software delivery. - Designing and constructing secure, highly scalable enterprise-grade platform services. - Collaborating closely with product managers, architects, testers, and development teams. - Troubleshooting and providing support for the current Cloud platform in production. - Expertise in debugging and resolving production issues. Required Skills and Qualifications: - 5+ years of professional DevOps/production operations experience. - 3+ years of Cloud Native application delivery experience. - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD tools like GitLab, TeamCity. - Proficiency in public cloud infrastructures (GCP - Preferred, AWS, Azure). - Hands-on experience with core Cloud services, infrastructure as code, Linux-based systems, and runtimes. - Development experience in programming languages such as Python, Terraform, Java. - Familiarity with Helm, K8S, Istio, GCP, AWS, GKE, EKS, Terraform, SRE/DevOps practices, and Cloud Provider automation tools.
