About the Role

LocalAI Media Network is building a scalable AI-powered hyperlocal news and digital media platform. We are looking for a hands-on Platform / Full Stack Engineer who can design, build, and maintain the core CMS and publishing system used to manage town-wise news, videos, and AI-generated content. This is a core execution-focused role and not an AI research position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop a custom CMS for news and media publishing
• Build admin dashboards for town-wise content management
• Implement workflows such as draft, review, approval, and publishing
• Develop and maintain backend APIs
• Design and manage database schemas
• Implement role-based access control (Admin, Editor, Reporter)
• Handle media uploads including text, images, and videos
• Integrate AI-generated outputs into CMS workflows
• Ensure system performance, security, and scalability
• Work closely with AI engineers and content teams
• Support platform go-live and post-launch improvements

Required Technical Skills

Backend:

Node.js or Python (Django / FastAPI)

REST API development

PostgreSQL / MySQL

Authentication and authorization (JWT / RBAC)

CMS or workflow-based backend experience

Frontend:

React / Next.js / Vue

Admin dashboard development

Basic UI integration

DevOps (Basic):

Linux

Nginx

AWS or GCP

Deployment fundamentals

Nice to Have

Experience with media or content platforms

CMS or publishing system exposure

File and media handling experience

API integrations

YouTube or streaming platform integration

Experience Required

3 to 6 years of relevant experience with strong backend exposure
