Platform Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

As an experienced Backend Developer with strong Java skills and DevOps experience, your main responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot, with a 70% development focus. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement platform architecture and service integrations. - Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. - Automating infrastructure provisioning and deployments using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, or Terraform. - Monitoring application performance and troubleshooting production issues. - Contributing to both High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation. - Maintaining and enhancing system reliability, scalability, and security on cloud platforms. Qualifications required for this role include: - 6+ years of experience in backend development using Java, with strong knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture. - 2-3 years of hands-on DevOps experience including CI/CD, containerization, and cloud deployments. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Experience in working on HLD and LLD design processes. - Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including agile methodologies, version control, and code quality.
