Platform Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Your primary focus will be on development, with 70% of your time dedicated to this task. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement platform architecture and service integrations. Your duties will also include implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms. You will be involved in automating infrastructure provisioning and deployments using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, or Terraform. Monitoring application performance and troubleshooting production issues will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will contribute to both High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation. Ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security on cloud platforms will also be a key aspect of your role. To be successful in this position, you should have at least 6 years of experience in backend development using Java, along with a strong understanding of Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture. You should also possess 2+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, including CI/CD, containerization, and cloud deployments. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Ansible is required. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred. You should also have experience working on High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) processes. Having experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack, as well as exposure to messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ, will be beneficial. Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL solutions is also a plus.
