Job Summary:

Seeking a

Platform

Engineer

with 3+ years experience in designing, automating, and optimizing secure cloud solutions. Must have strong Azure expertise, hands-on skills with Terraform, Kubernetes, ARM templates, and monitoring tools like Datadog, plus a track record in cost optimization and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on Azure, including infrastructure setup with VMs, Active Directory, and Automation.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructures to ensure optimal performance, using tools like Azure Monitor and DataDog.
• Automate deployments and configuration management with Azure DevOps, PowerShell, ARM templates, and terraform.
• Configure monitoring and log analysis with tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, App Insights, and Datadog for performance tracking.
• Optimize Azure resource utilization, implement cost-saving measures, analyze pricing, and suggest subscription models for cost efficiency.
• Conduct disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and ensure compliance with security features.
• Collaborate with teams for seamless integration of cloud services and assist in daily administration, including monitoring and support.
  

Required Skills

:

• Deep knowledge of primary Azure services (Virtual Machines, Active Directory, Automation, Monitor, Log Analytics) and cost structures.
• Experience configuring and integrating monitoring tools like Datadog and Sumo Logic.
• Hands-on with Azure Blueprints, Policies, Terraform, ARM templates, and PowerShell for infrastructure setup.
• Understanding of cloud concepts, services alternatives, and cost management in Azure.
• 3+ years in cloud engineering, preferably with Azure certifications.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
