Job Description

Reports To:

Role Purpose

Plant Operator

Key Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day plant operations as per shift plan and SOPs.
Monitor process parameters and maintain smooth production flow.
Conduct basic in-process quality checks and immediately report abnormalities.
Follow all safety rules and use appropriate PPE throughout the shift.
Carry out first-level maintenance and maintain 5S and housekeeping standards.
Record shift production, quality readings, and downtime in log sheets.
Coordinate with team members and ensure proper shift handover.

Skills & Competencies

Understanding of plant/production operations.
Ability to monitor process conditions and troubleshoot minor issues.
Strong safety awareness and discipline.
Good teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.

Qualification & Experience

Diploma
2-7 years of experience as a Plant Operator or in production operations
