Key Responsibilities

• Operational Management:

  Oversee day-to-day plant operations and production activities, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.

• Production & Planning:

  Develop and implement effective production schedules and plans to meet deadlines and demands.

• Quality & Compliance:

  Maintain high product quality standards and ensure the plant operates in compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Budget & Resource Management:

  Manage the plant budget, optimize resource allocation, and control costs to maximize profitability.

• Leadership & Team Management:

  Lead, motivate, and manage the plant workforce, including supervisors and employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

• Process Improvement:

  Identify and execute initiatives for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

• Cross-Departmental Coordination:

  Coordinate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, quality, supply chain) to ensure seamless operations.

• Troubleshooting:

  Address operational issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to resolve problems.

• Reporting:

  Analyze production data, generate reports, and present findings to upper management.

Key Qualifications

• Education:

  A bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical) or a related field is generally required.

• Experience:

  Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing plant, with a strong focus on switchgear or electrical equipment manufacturing.

• Technical Knowledge:

  Solid understanding of switchgear manufacturing processes, production management, and quality control systems.

• Leadership Skills:

  Exceptional leadership, team management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Regulatory Knowledge:

  Proficiency in understanding and adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Continuous Improvement:

  Experience with methodologies like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma is highly beneficial.
