Job Description QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: CharteredAccountantorICWAI with 1-2 yearssignificantexperiencein accounts payable and Plant controller role. SAP Experience (MUST) JOB PURPOSE The Plant Controller will be responsible for planning and coordinating plant budget and business planning activities in alignment with corporate. The person will be amember oftheFinanceOrganization andwill ensure day to day accounts payable, ensure invoices at the plant are processed accurately and efficiently, timelypayments,maintainandbuildrelationshipswithinternal&external stakeholder. Monthendactivity andmaintenanceofrobustcontrolenvironment. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES DeliverAccountsPayableinatimelyandefficientmanner o Processing,verifying,reconciling,accountingandpaymentofvendorinvoices,payroll,staffclaim,Inter-company,taxand statutorydues. o Review Invoice codingand ensure accuratebooking. o Vendor/Employee Advance monitoring and settlement in system. o Monitoremployeeclaim reimbursement and payment asperdefinedpolicies. o Releasing Purchase Order and ensuring correct flow of new vendor boarded in system. o Vendor master approval timely in the system with correct validation of TDS and Tax code tagged in the system. supportvendorregistration processinthe ERPsystem and vendor portal. o Forecasting and Budgeting of Overheads/Freight. o Inventory Management- timely asset capitalization and follow up with internal team. o Managing plant accounting and cost control. (Budget v/s Actuals) o Regulatory documentationforforeignremittances. o Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies or as per the requirement. o Support in preparationof bankreconciliations,includingfollowupofoutstandingitems. o Maintainingrecordsandvendorfiles-ensureallphysicaldocumentsarekeptinsafecustodyanddigitaldocumentsare stored properly o Assistinimplementingcontinuousprocessimprovementandefficiencyinitiatives Carry out Vendor reconciliations including obtaining vendor balance confirmations, AP ageinganalysis, action plan to clear open items, monitoring and reporting debit balances and balanceswith specifiedvendors Develop and maintain a strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders and work tobuildsustainable processes EnsuremonthendcloseactivitiesarecompletedasperthetimelinesforAPclose,accrualsor provisionsanyadjustments Maintainrobustinternalcontrols o implementationriskmitigationcontrolstostrengthenthecontrolenvironment o maintainSOPsandensureitsongoingeffectivenessinidentifyingandmitigatinganyexposure o ensureadherencetoDelegationofAuthorityincludingapprovedpoliciesandprocedures Support Statutory and Internal Audits completion and ensure timely closure/resolution of auditissuesand implementagreed recommendations Collaborate with other business teams to deliver cross-functional projects, finance agenda orperform otherdutiesasassigned orasrequired.
