Planning Engineer

Job Title: Planning Engineer - Refinery Construction Project

Position Summary:

Planning Engineers with Civil Engineering experience

Key Responsibilities:

General Planning Duties (Common to Both):

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules using

  Primavera P6 / MS Project

  .
• Prepare

  Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)

  and link construction activities to procurement and engineering schedules.
• Monitor project progress and prepare

  daily/weekly/monthly reports

  .
• Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and client representatives to update schedules and resolve planning issues.
• Participate in review meetings and provide delay analysis, lookahead plans, and recovery schedules.

Candidates can have experience in any ONE of the following scopes:

Option 1: Building Construction Scope

• Planning of civil and structural works for industrial buildings, control rooms, pump houses, admin blocks, RCC works, plastering, flooring, water-proofing, etc.
• Coordination with architectural, structural, and MEP teams.
• Experience in sequencing of multi-floor construction, finishing works, scaffolding planning, etc

Option 2: Underground (UG) Piping Scope

• Planning for UG civil works like excavation, trenching, backfilling, cable trenches, foundations for pipe supports.
• Coordination of civil activities with piping layouts (e.g., process pipelines, stormwater, firewater).
• Experience with

  refinery UG networks

  , inter-discipline dependencies, and underground service drawings.

Qualification & Experience:

• Education

  : B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

• Experience

  : 510 years total experience

• Relevant Scope

  :
• Minimum 3 years in either

  Building

  or

  UG Piping

  planning
• Experience in

  refinery, industrial, or large infrastructure projects

  preferred

• Software Proficiency

  :

• Primavera P6

  (Mandatory)
• MS Project and MS Excel (Advanced level)
