Planning Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer with strong expertise in Mivan formwork high-rise residential construction to lead project scheduling, material planning, labour planning, and progress monitoring. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely project execution, cost control, and coordination between site and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
• Prepare baseline schedules, recovery programs, and weekly/monthly look-ahead plans.
• Monitor daily site progress and update schedules accordingly.
• Analyze schedule variance, delays, and critical path activities.
• Prepare detailed material planning schedules as per construction sequence.
• Ensure timely availability of materials in coordination with procurement and stores.
• Carry out labour planning, productivity tracking, and deployment as per project needs.
• Track and control manpower, machinery, and material consumption.
• Coordinate with site execution, QA/QC, design, billing, and procurement teams.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
• Support RA bills, BOQ monitoring, and project cost control.
• Identify construction risks and delays and propose mitigation & recovery measures.
• Ensure strict adherence to Mivan slab cycle timelines and productivity norms.
  

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Mivan formwork construction methodology.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project & Advanced MS Excel.
• Excellent understanding of high-rise residential project sequencing.
• Expertise in scheduling, material planning, labour planning, and resource optimization.
• Knowledge of resource loading, cash flow forecasting, and productivity analysis.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight construction deadlines.
