Piping Stress Engineer

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Design and analyze piping systems for offshore platforms, including process piping, utility piping, and subsea pipelines. Conduct stress analysis and ensure piping systems meet safety and regulatory standards. Prepare and review technical documentation, including isometric drawings, piping layouts, and material specifications. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions and efficient project execution. Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and maintenance phases. Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASME, API, etc.) and regulatory requirements. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of experience in piping engineering within the oil and gas industry. Proficiency in piping design and analysis software (e.g., CAESAR II, AutoCAD Plant 3D). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in offshore environments, including physical fitness and safety training certification.
