Piping Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for acting as a Piping Stress lead for the project, developing project philosophy and design basis for piping stress, and managing vendor and subcontracted engineering company engineering tasks in your domain of expertise. Your role will involve preparing technical requisitions, participating in vendor proposal technical evaluation, and performing static analysis using CAESAR II for all load cases. Additionally, you will provide effective stress solutions for critical piping, select spring hangers, expansion joints, and special supports, and prepare data sheets, technical requisitions, and technical specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Act as a Piping Stress lead for the project - Develop project philosophy and design basis for piping stress - Manage vendor and subcontracted engineering company engineering tasks in your domain of expertise - Prepare technical requisitions and participate in vendor proposal technical evaluation - Perform static analysis using CAESAR II for all load cases - Provide effective stress solutions for critical piping - Select spring hangers, expansion joints, and special supports - Prepare data sheets, technical requisitions, and technical specifications - Review vendor drawings to ensure piping loads are within recommended limits - Prepare and review stress isometrics and stress reports - Lead and assist junior piping stress engineers in developing engineering deliverables - Review, comment, and approve outsourced piping stress engineering design deliverables - Provide inputs to other disciplines during project execution - Participate in engineering and client meetings as required - Provide support to processing facilities as required by Operations Qualifications Required: - Proficient in English (speaking and writing) - Diploma: Masters - Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and EPC background - Prior work experience as a stress engineer in Production Facility, Onshore, Offshore & FPSO Modules - Management of Construction suppliers and Site Engineering support for Precommissioning and Commissioning activities - Familiar with International standards such as ANSI / ASME / API standard for Piping Stress Knowledge - Experience in Piping layout, Design, and Stress Analysis - Knowledge of Pipe support and Caesar II software - Experience in stress design basis/philosophy for all load cases, specification, standards, and guidelines for stress engineering execution - Experience in stress critical line list, planning, scheduling, and progress control for critical computer stress calculations and visual reviews Note: This is an office-based position, with the expectation to come in three days a week.,
