Piping Engineer

As a Senior Engineer (Piping) based in Mumbai, you will be responsible for a variety of technical skills and responsibilities including: - Demonstrating sound knowledge of Piping Materials, Layouts & International Codes and standards. - Preparing detailed piping specifications, calculating pipe wall thickness, and creating data sheets for piping specialty items and valves schedule. - Checking and preparing material takeoff for piping systems, painting, and insulation. - Developing tenders/requisitions for piping materials and engaging in technical discussions with clients and vendors/suppliers. - Evaluating technical bids from vendors/suppliers in accordance with specific requirements. - Conducting detailed engineering tasks post-receiving process flow diagrams and operating conditions. - Assisting in the preparation and verification of overall plot plans, Equipment Layout, Isometrics, and as-built drawings for the entire plant. - Collaborating with other disciplines such as process, civil, electrical, and instrumentation divisions. - Validating and supervising technical documents. - Participating in finalizing piping layouts based on site requirements in consultation with Design Engineers. - Creating cost estimates, Techno-commercial offers for EPC & PC projects, and bid packages, including conducting site visits before awarding jobs. Qualifications required for this role include: - B.Tech / BE in Mechanical Engineering - Proficiency in PDMS-11.6, 12.0 (Pipe work, Equipment, Structure, Report, Draft, Isodraft), Auto CAD, CAESAR-II, Model Review Software's. - 5 to 7 years of relevant experience - Willingness to travel to site/client office as needed.,
