Piping Engineer

As a Senior Engineer (Piping) based in Mumbai, your role involves utilizing your technical skills and experience to handle various responsibilities related to piping engineering. With 5 to 7 years of experience and a B.Tech / BE (Mechanical) qualification, you will be expected to work with precision and adhere to international codes and standards. Your key responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating sound knowledge of piping materials, layouts, and international codes. - Preparing detailed piping specifications, calculating pipe wall thickness, and creating data sheets for piping items and valves schedule. - Generating and reviewing material takeoff for piping systems, painting, and insulation. - Drafting tenders and requisitions for piping materials, engaging in technical discussions with clients and vendors/suppliers. - Evaluating technical bids from vendors/suppliers to ensure compliance with specific requirements. - Conducting detailed engineering tasks based on process flow diagrams and operating conditions. - Collaborating with other disciplines such as process, civil, electrical, and instrumentation divisions. - Validating and supervising technical documents to maintain quality standards. - Finalizing piping layouts based on site requirements in consultation with Design Engineers. - Estimating costs, preparing techno-commercial offers for EPC & PC projects, and creating bid packages including site visits prior to job award. Your proficiency in PDMS-11.6, 12.0, AutoCAD, CAESAR-II, and Model Review Software's will be essential for effectively carrying out these responsibilities.
