Proficiency in E3D's specific features and functionalities is essential for success in this role. Prepare 2D and 3D electrical drawings and layouts using E3D, AutoCAD, and other relevant software. Model and coordinate electrical systems (cable trays, lighting, earthing, and equipment) in E3D. Review and manage clash detections using Navisworks or similar software. Ensure designs comply with project specifications, international standards (IEEE, NFPA, etc.), and industry best practices. Support the preparation of material take-offs, cable schedules, and equipment lists. Work with engineers, clients, and other disciplines to develop designs. Supervise and mentor junior designers.
