Our Critical Facilities Engineering team is responsible for supervising and performing a wide range of facilities engineering tasks, especially for the electrical systems. These include alarm response, fault finding, maintenance, repairs, and equipment modification related to electrical system. As a member of this team, you will be working in a 24/7 shift environment, and the role will involve physical activities such as carrying, reaching, and working at various heights, etc. Key Responsibilities: Facility/Infrastructure Maintenance: Perform daily checks and site inspections of the building and alarms. Coordinate and lead preventative maintenance tasks and vendors and lead repairs and corrective maintenance efforts. Connect with collaborators about major repairs and develop procedures for running them. Coordinate and perform critical switching activities. Maintain workplace safety practices and alignment to approved MOPs Ensure incidents are escalated and handled according to protocols. Assist with capacity management and support other teams as needed. Site Administration: Run access control and security measures. Ensure the fire protection system is active and perform integral actions. Maintain and coordinate site records to meet compliance requirements. Attend vendor meetings to discuss services and address any issues. Qualifications, skills and attributes: Typically 3-4+ years of proven experience with relevant academic background Team first mentality and willingness to learn and develop on the job Industrial, data center or Mission Critical experience preferred Willingness to participate in 24/7 roster Ability to safely and effectively perform the necessary physical tasks associated with the job.

About the position: The Mechanical Design Engineering Lead is a working supervisor role within the Chevron ENGINE Center Design Engineering team; and will support Chevrons Refineries and Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) assets. The team is responsible for supporting the troubleshooting, analysis and development of mechanical engineering solutions for Chevrons complex process facilities. The Mechanical Design Engineering Lead supervises a team of Mechanical Design engineers, providing remote technical support for daily operations, planning for turnaround events, and small projects. This position reports to the Design Engineering Team Lead at the Chevron ENGINE Center. Key responsibilities: Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop Mechanical Design Engineers providing leadership and guidance on standard tools and processes such as Engineering Work Orders, Management of Change, Chevrons Turnaround process and Root Cause Analysis techniques Set clear expectations and support creation and management of the teams performance and development plans Partner with customers and stakeholders to prioritize the teams workload. Ensure the team is appropriately resourced to meet the customer's needs and business plan commitments Responsible for the timeliness and quality of the teams deliverables including Engineering Work Orders as well as technical and constructability reviews Collaborate with other Design Engineering Team Leads to manage the Design Engineering department organizational capabilities and competencies Promote a continuous improvement mindset while removing barriers and seeking simple, fit-for-purpose solutions Provide leadership in sharing information and resources across the Business Units Leverage and is familiar with the Facilities Engineering Chevron Engineering and Safety in Design Standards Leverage expertise and knowledge of piping systems and codes, pressure vessel design, leak seal methods, hydraulic calculations, process equipment selection & sizing, equipment procurement, field construction & repair practices, process safety information, management of change work process and process control & monitoring to help coach, mentor and develop the Design Engineering team Support department recruiting and hiring efforts Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) from a deemed/recognized (AICTE) university Ideally 8- 15 years of experience in an operational support role or similar for a complex refinery or LNG facility Demonstrated supervisory experience will be highly regarded

This role involves the development and application of engineering practice and knowledge in designing, managing and improving the processes for Industrial operations, including procurement, supply chain and facilities engineering and maintenance of the facilities. Project and change management of industrial transformations are also included in this role. Job Description - Grade Specific Focus on Industrial Operations Engineering. Develops competency in own area of expertise. Shares expertise and provides guidance and support to others. Interprets clients needs. Completes own role independently or with minimum supervision.
